AC-signal, A/D, digital-storage?

Hello!

I'm trying to create a simple (portable) acoustical measuresystem for home-audio.

So my question is if there are any simple* A/D-converters with integrated RAM and other essentials.

*cheap

Thanks alot.

Sincerely
Martin, Sweden.

I have a traditional measurement-system.

I would like to create a system that doesn't rely on the soundcard. Digital all the way. 😎

Anyone else with some ideas?

I'm not following you. A soundcard's recording input IS essentially an 'A/D converter with integrated RAM and other essentials'. How much more digital can you get?

I think he wanted it to be portable, in which case a laptop would do! 😉

In all seriousness, the short answer is no, there isn't a simple A/D with RAM unless you want to spend bucks for a commerical one.
