I did some searching and could not find a good answer to this question. I just ordered a new i7 860 and ASUS P7P55D LGA mobo to upgrade my old C2D system. I have my old AC Freezer 7 Pro from my C2D system (it is NOT Rev 2) and am curious if there is a way to get it to work on the 1156 slot or will I need to get new brackets or a new HSF? Thanks!
 
The Rev 2 and original are the same heatsink/fan assembly. It's just the mounting bracket that changed. At least as far as I can tell (I've got multiple F7Ps of both revisions). You should be able to contact Arctic Cooling and order the appropriate bracket/backplate.
