Ooo... did a search on "AC/DC" in this forum and see somebody started a thread a couple months ago, basically the same thing, making it a poll:

Bon or Brian

I'm personally waiting for the hardcore nerds to start posting about their Panaflo's in here.

My personal preference - I don't care, all AC/DC was/is good stuff, especially after a few drinks.

Bon was as good as Brian in different ways. I don't think they could have got a better replacement for Bon.

Bon was better... but the new music with Brian is not bad by any means. (Back in Black was one of their best albums)

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I don't know that all of Back in Black was by Brian... maybe a few of them.

Anyone know?

..it's a damn shame Bonn Scott drank him self to death..he had one of the best rock voice's of the time and would stand up well today had he lived. There is another that sounds very similar thou..remember a group called Accept?? I don't recall his name but he may have been Bonn's ghost..sounds nearly identical. Any body recall and is Accept still around??..who is that guy....

I recall Accept. The radio station I work at has some of their stuff. I've played them on the radio. Rockin' metal.

Edit:

Accept songs I played on the air:

RUN IF YOU CAN
MIDNIGHT MOVER
BREAKER
FAST AS A SHARK (kicks!!)
HELLDRIVER
METAL HEART

Udo Dirkschneider

Accept page

BTW, I found a pretty good AC/DC lyrics site here. Has lyrics to 157 songs (a few of them different versions, e.g. live vs. studio), but almost all different songs.

Bon for sure.

Found a page with an extensive biography for Bon: Link

Judging from what they said about his death, he didn't die of alcoholism so much as having gotten his blood alcohol level too high one night:

"After a night of heavy drinking, Bon died in a car parked outside a friend's flat in South London sometime on February 19, 1980. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Kings College Hospital. "
