Lo all. I'm building a supercooling setup to try to get my system down to at least -60C. The current idea is to have a Steve Foster esque sort of setup going. The one problem I keep hitting though is finding a good compressor at a somewhat down to earth price.
Currently, the best offer I have is $260 for a Tecumseh AJA2425ZXA compressor. 1/2 HP running on R404A. Moves about 2450 BTU/hr at -10C. It's ideal for cooling my two dual processor systems.
But thats really the only thing I could find. Does anyone else have suggestions for where to find a similar AC compressor at a lower price?
