AC 97 or HD Audio on GA-965P-DS3?

Hi, my case has two connectors for the front panel, AC 97 and HD Audio. I'm using the onboard sound on the GA-965P-DS3. Which one should I connect? Thanks!
 
You don't give much to go on, but I'm assuming that the onboard sound that you are using is AC97, therefore the AC97 connecter should work. I would think that you could try both, without any problems and choose, but then I'm not an expert on this.
 
you motherboard manual should say what the onboard audio is. hell, newegg will tell you , just look at the specs and then use the appropriate connector...
