Absolutely hillarious college football 'trick play' (arkansas vs. auburn)

I assume that it's the play where the running back crouched down right behind the lineman so the defense couldn't see him, then they diret snapped to him?

If so, that was a cool play 😀

Arkansas pulled one against Alabama that was pretty slick too.

Arkansas called a timeout.. the players went to the sideline..
Alabama went to take their positions on the field after the timeout..
Arkansas's center went to the where the ball was spotted.. Rest of Arkansas players began walking, as if they were going back out on the field..
ref signals that its time to play, and play clock rolls..
Rest of players stop, and line up the formation right there close to the sidelines..
Center (which is lined up at the ball) tosses the ball to the left, to where the rest of the players are lined up and run down the field..

Maybe you will see more of that stuff, at least from Arkansas. They have a new Offiensive Coordinator this year... whom, BTW, was coaching high school last year. Turns out the old HS trick plays work just fine at the college level too 🙂

[edit] Also, that play against Auburn isn't a direct snap to the RB. The QB takes the snap and then drops it to the RB with his right hand as he turns to fake a handoff with his lft hand to the WR crossing behind them. It's executed very smoothly so it's a bit hard to see.
