Two of my friends are taking me out for my belated bday in half hour.

One of them and I are avid scotch fans. Before we go out to eat/drink, we'll drink some following single malts at home:

My Glenlivet 12 yo
He's bringing Macallan Cask Strength 12 yo
My leftover Cragganmore 12 yo
Maker's Mark (not single malt, I bought this simply because you ATOT recommended, remember?)
ri1 Rye Whiskey (Jim Beam) (I don't know why this thing costs $50, super pretty bottle though)

If we're lucky, we might pop open the ABSOLUTE PWNAGE after the bar (I got him this for his wedding present- Cragganmore special reserve cask strength 20 yo 52.3% I ordered it straight from UK)

ive only had glenlivet12 on ice, it was a decent scotch, and i enjoyed it, but i think i would enjoy the higher end ones even more, wish i had some money.

Well played. I have a bottle of Glenfiddich 12 but never looked beyond that. I have quite a few others on the shelf, but those are my top for the moment. Want to pick up some Balvenie Portwood 21YO eventually.

if you like the glen 12 you will love the 18 and or 21 however the 21 is a lil different

if you like the glen 12 you will love the 18 and or 21 however the 21 is a lil different
