OK, i dld coolbits, and unzipped the registry key to my desktop, I entered the key into "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" The tutorial I was following said I would have to change a value or something, but when I dragged the reg.key into it, it dissapeared, however, when I open up my nvidia control panel, I now have OC options, am i 100% completely safe to OC, without a shadow of a doubt?

EDIT: I am running winxp home

Ok, my original question got answered by myself, it is in the correct location, with the correct value, now, as for OC'ing, i'm a first timer, so what should I do? Do I only OC 3d settings? and if so, do I increase by small amounts, say 5 MHz at a time? And does there need to be a coorelation between core and memory, or can I OC each independently without any dependencies. Any response from a vet. would be MOST appreciated. Oh yea, and if anyone wants to give me some ballpark numbers here (as far as an OC goes) my core is 475 MHz stock, and memory is 900 MHz (DDR), my idle temp is 39' C, so I figure I have some headroom, It just dawned upon me the other day that I was babying this card BIG TIME.
