ABS NW-203-RT Router Issue

This device works fine in both wire and wireless b/g mode (excellent signal within 15 to 20 ft). Problem is that I cannot enter the configuration screen to turn on encryption even when entered htttp://192.1681.254 in the browser. Is there a link to a FW flash that will resolve this issue? It's hard to beat $8 including shipping. The outside is only warm to the touch.

I am having the same issue with my $20 Zyxel router, I have a flash ready for it (to try and solve some drops it's having) but I was only able to get to the config screen once (when I first bought it/ set it up) even after I hit the tiny reset button on the back I get "page not found" when I try to access the config screen, I tried I.E. and Firefox from two seperate comps on the same wired network.

OP, if yours is the same as mine, you have to access the config page to flash the unit. (AFAIK)

Not sure if these two routers are the same. And yes, I must access the config screen to flash the new FW. There are two ways to reset my router (clear data and hard reset to factory config). May try to contact ABS next week.

I agree, not the same router and I wasn't trying to hyjack your thread. We just have the same problem and I was trying to add more information for anyone who might have some insight into the issue.
I contacted Zyxel and got the excellent service most companies deliver "is your router hooked up to your network?" "is it plugged in?" "is the electricity in your crack house turned on?"😉
