maybe thats a hint? :sneaky:
;)

The book is very well done though. It blends history and the idea that Lincoln hunts vampires so well, I had to remind myself that it was fiction. I'm sure some southern states are going to boycott the movie or something though. Basically, the reason why Lincoln freed the slaves was that slaves were a food source for the vampires.

Haha yeah I bet. I don't think it'll be a documentary. Its more of a "based on a true story " thing

You guys know how the author wrote these books, right? The main novel was left in place, and then the author would go through and add scenes that support the title with little modification to the original text except to make the transition smooth. That would be why it read like history, rockyct.

Hmm, I thought this one was completely written by the author but it was written in the style of historical biographies.

Yah this one looks like it is. My bad, I know that's how Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was written.

Those movies are horrendously bad, largely due to the shitty english dubbing and poor writing. They had interesting ideas though.

I've never liked any movie dubbed ...

Original language + subtitles always works for me...

That said, I don't recall the writing being particularly bad for either one, at least compared to 80% of what else is out there .... (neither one is like a 10/10 or anything ... but both are decently good IMO, Nightwatch being the better of the two)

That movie trailer pictures a completed Washington Monument, which wasn't actually completed until 1884, some 19 years after Lincoln's death.

Next thing you're going to tell me is that Lincoln never was a vampire hunter!

Ended up watching The Brave trailer too... that looks possibly entertaining.

I think we need that history channel meme right about now.

eh...its a book... like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as well i think.

whats not original about this anyways?
It was a very good book as well. The trailer makes it look like the movie is a prequel of Die Hard though.

If it does well maybe we can get a movie about George Washington riding a triceratops into war against werewolfs.

Abe was a good hunter, but he wasn't great at the detection part.

Many a times did I break bread with him. Then again, I wasn't looking to tear his throat out.

It's like they put random words in a hat to come up with movie scripts.

"Let's see....I got "Lincoln". What did you get?"
"Vamipre. How about you?"
"Killer."

"OK, let's go with it."
