I started playing Project Cars with the 760, and not a single artifact was seen. I'm getting 60+ fps with high to ultra settings. I'll probably reduce the setting so, I can get consistent frames when I race with 24+ car grids.

Unfortunately though when I place my computer in sleep mode (Windows 7 64bit), the case fans are still on. When I then push the power button, it takes 5 to 10 seconds, for the computer to come back on (wake up), instead of 1 to 3 seconds.

I've yet to experience the screen going black issue thus far today, while stream high res video online.

yeah, i think that is a little uncalled for.

Your not only putting him down, your also flat out lying

the 280x is more expensive than the 760. Its $299-$369-> a completely different bracket!!!!

The gtx 760 is most commonly $239 these days. There are models that are $219 with mir. You would think a card that has an average selling price of 100$ more to be faster.

The 280x is not such a way better buy. You can always spend more money for a faster card. ALWAYS

Here in Canada a 280X sits around $350, a 4GB 760 sits around $370, the 2GB is what I have which I bought for $330 and new games are going to need more than 2GB which Watch_Dogs and Wolfenstein already does.

From what I've read 4GB is only useful for those utilizing multiple monitors or > 2560 resolution.

Good news so far is that my PC is able to go into sleep mode with the case fans going off, after 10-20 seconds. Bad news is that, running Excel 2013 at the same time with Project Cars, will occasionally crash (i.e. Excel crash), and then a prompts asks to close and restart the program.

Exactly what card did you purchase ? I have the EVGA SC ACX card and it has been flawless. Runs everything I throw at it, at the res of 1080. Mine is the 2gb version as well.

This is the card I ended up with. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130953

Nvidia seems to be a bit better than AMD in this particular game. If this is what you'll be playing the most just get the 760 or faster if you can.
