4 onboard and the board has headers for 4 more I guess since the pic only shows four onboard.

Mine should be here within 2 hours ill let you know! 😛

uhh, i would not get that "house" brand memory. get something decent like crucial, cosair, or something. also that price on the 9500 pro is steep. you can get a 9700 non pro for that much which is a good bit better. if you are in to o/c might i reccommend getting the 2.6 ghz p4 C. i hear it has a higher multiplyer.

everything he said and don't skim on the case and PSU, you'll be looking at the case for a REALLY LONG TIME....

go to newegg and look for chieftec aluminum cases. either that, or the antec LANBOY seems nice

My P4P8X just arrived, its 4 USB on the mobo, with no headers. My mistake anyway cuz youre talking about the P4P800 😛

I updated everything but the video card and the case. I can not find the 9500 pro any cheaper. can someone help me?

is the case I have picked out no good? The one I have picked out looks good enough for me but I am wondering if it will work right?

I'd get the full size ATX board for future upgradability. You should really get at least 512 megs of ram.

just remember you get what you paid for... that case:

1) is made of steel (or whatever metal), and it's heavy. after i got a rock solid (an antec steel tower) case, i realized that my friend's aluminum is much much sweeter
2) probably has a poor built quality, which means possible razor-sharp edges on the inside (or possible outside!), which makes a pain in the arse to build your system in
3) no removable hard drive cage. many cases now have removable hard drive cages. makes swapping/putting in the hard drives much easier
4) no-name power supply. much like your mother board, the PSU controls your system's fate:
Power Supply Output:
+5V/30A maximum
+12V/25A maximum
-12V/0.8A maximum
+3.3V/28A maximum
-5V/0.3A maximum
+5Vsb/2.0A maximum

i dunno how to read power supply outputs but maybe someone can help you...

but generic power supply is just a gamble

5) as i have said many times before, i think the case/PSU is one of the parts in your computer that requires the least upgrading, which means you can probably use and reuse it for years to come.

just my 2 yen
