NICE!! DFI>epox. Better configurability, OC-ability and warranty.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-ALCU is cheaper and quieter.

I really would go with that Epox board very stable good ocing. check out benchmarks are you gonna unlock that 6800 to 16pipelines? have you thought about a x800pro flashing to xt? or the 6800 unlock pipelines and get 16pipelines.

i dont really care about unlocking/overclocking the video card, as i hardly game at all, however i have always liked the nivida cards more then the ATI ones, their dual monitor stuff works much much better

I have the same Zalman fan, but the 100% copper version. Works great, but I like the new one they have, don't know if Eggo has it or not?

CNPS9500 LED

That cost 70 dollars and its huge plus i belive it isnt out yet.

No that's the small version, the extreme OC version is due out soon. ;)

no no riad 0
its gonna be my all round comp, i need those 2 drives for space, im gonna put 2 160GB IDE drives in it as well

Dual 19in CRTs
its all going in a Lain Li PC65B
Plextor DVD burner adn lite on DVD drive im reuseing along with the case and floppy and whatever else i need, TV card and whatnot

if i could find a 40gig SATA drive i woudl get a 40 and a 80 but i cant find one, i always give windows its own drive, so this time its getting a 80 gig i guess, 2nd 80 gig will hold my mp3s and pics, which together total over 60 gigs

the first 160 will backup the mp3/pics drive and hold data and the last will be used for vids

Why not get a 6600GT then (since you don't game much)?

because i might as well get the one that has the potential last me the longest

Actually, the 6600GT gets about the same performance as the 6800 in most games:

Anandtech's HalfLife 2 benches: Link

I would change video card and mobo. mobo i suggested epox and video card x800pro vivo or 6800nu and unlock the pipelines.

edit: looks like the x800pro and 6800nu pci-e cant be unlocked :( i would say 6600gt i guess than.
