Cool about the USB bootup. I wasnt sure the newer gen macs could boot off a external USB source.

Also, why add all that stuff to a mini? I guess its cool but a $300 proc upgrade? Thats half the price right there, why not just buy a imac with a core2 duo proc in there and the LCD and full size drive.

Also where are you getting 2gig ram for $75? I want some!

It's actually only $45 with the rebate:

It's from Crucial, a very good brand. As far as the processor upgrade goes, it depends on your situation. Not everyone wants an iMac. Many people like myself love the small form factor of the Mini and prefer to use our own monitors. However, if you are buying new it makes a lot more sense financially to simply buy an iMac. You can still use your own monitor with it, just the physical footprint is not as small as the Mini.

I am personally on the fence between selling my MacBook, and get the MacBook Pro, or keeping the MacBook and getting the 20" iMac after the refresh. If the rumors are true, and the next Apple desktop keyboard is modeled after the MacBook's keyboard then my mind is made up for me, I will get the iMac.
