About to get the bike ready to go for the summer :)

w00t...i finally get to ride my bike again...its an 85 honda rebel 250...its not real big on cc's but the bike itself is a decent size...i'm 6'1" and am comfortable on it..and i have a blast

gotta get a buddy of mine to weld my footpeg mount back together so i can shift it without a crescent wrench, lol

then its time to tag and insure it and i'm havin fun again

EDIT: heh, 5K posts...on that note i'm gonna go get that footpeg off and stay of AT for the day

yeah its not that fast...but i can get up to about 85mph or so...thats fast enough for me...at least until i get another couple thousand miles under my belt

and i got my footpeg assembly off...damn that mofo is nasty...the kickstand is part of it so its leaning up against a post, lol i'm gonna take it to the carwash and powerwash that biotch for about an hour ...and i just talked to my mom, she does upholstry...i'm gonna get her to recover my seats...so that funky foam won't be sticking out anymore

i'm also gonna replace some hoses and little stuff here and there and then polish everyhting with mothers...i'll post an after pic in a few days when i get it looking halfway decent again

I would really advise against the powerwash. That sounds like a good way to get water where it's not supposed to be on a bike.

I would really advise against the powerwash. That sounds like a good way to get water where it's not supposed to be on a bike.

i was just gonna do the bottom of the frame mostly...where road grime has accumulated...not gonna do the whole bike...the rest i'll do by hand
