About to buy this monitor

I am about to buy this monitor (ASUS VH242H) for $170:

Before I buy it, I would like some opinions. Should I wait for something better or is this a good deal? It has great reviews on newegg so I feel that I will be getting my money's worth. I will be using this to connect both my PC and my gaming console. One drawback is the fact there is only one hdmi port, but I don't see myself using it other than for my console. Will I regret this later?

Thanks

That is not bad!
Any new 23 inch monitor that cost less than 200$ is a really good deal in my opinion.

had them for 3 weeks. i'm running them on DVI cables, two headed and using a registered version of UltraMon

res is 1920x1080 on both

i would consider newegg reviews more seriously than i would amazon

newegg is a computer enthusiast site, amazon is just a big e-retailer in everything. more non computer savvy users farting around on amazon

i picked up my 2 asus 23" monitors from buy.com because they had the best price, and 2% cashback with ebates. both are great. only 1 dead pixel on one of the monitors in the bottom left corner. i use a black'ish theme so the toolbar covers it perfectly

Finally got it plugged in (have had it since last Wednesday, gotta love overnight free delivery from NJ to LI, NY) I'm currently using an D630 laptop as a backup to my dead desktop (new custom machine on the way) but even on the laptop VGA it's a HUGE step up from my 19" Dell LCD.

Now what am I going to do with all this junk I cleared off my desk 😀
