I need new tires for my Subaru. I live in Seattle where it rains a lot, but I go skiing in the winter. I'm 90 minutes away from the snowiest place on earth.
I don't want to mess with switching out tires every winter, and still driving 90% of winter driving on snowless roads.
I know there have been a few discussion of Nokian WRG3s but as long as no one advises otherwise I think I'm going to get them. They're more expensive but last 50k miles (about how much longer I'll have the car). The alternative is a set of summers, a set of winters, and another set of wheels (which in total is almost 2x as expensive).
