Hi guys, I am close to buy a new computer and I had like to get some insight about the compatibility of all the parts to be sure I am not making a mistake.
You can see the list there :

A Samsung S24D340H.

Will everything work fine?
Will the cheap motherboard be ok in the future?

Current rig is a i5 650 + ati HD 5570 and small 768p screen...

Everything should work, more or less. That SSD is the "less" - it has a Sandforce controller which is notorious for failing randomly. Better SSD brands would be Crucial or Samsung.

There are several "more"'s, as in "more than you need". A 390X is best on higher resolution screens. At 1080p, it's generally close in performance to a GTX 970. I would therefore get an "EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+, 4 Go", which is pre-overclocked, and pocket the price difference.

The PSU is also overkill, although I can't find anything better on that configuration system you found.

Speaking of your configuration system, it doesn't list the latest processors, motherboards, and RAM. I'd aim for an i5-6600K, a Z107 Z170 board, and 1.2V DDR4-2800 RAM.

Is the Crucial BX100, 120 Go, SATA III ok?
I don't see the Z107 board in sell in France, and the i5-6600k isn't on that site, and kinda more expensive than a 4690k elsewhere.DDR4 rams and motherboard to support them are just too expensive here.
The PSU doesn't look overkill, since it is one of the less expensive gold one, all I wonder is if it is a reliable one.

I plan to buy the htc Vive so a 970 isn't enough, even the 390x is bad for that but I don't want to buy a 980ti as the price is a scam and I will wait new generation cards to upgrade.

Is a Windows 10 installation via my cheap ass 7.5gb usb key going to be a sure bet?
If not I might have to add a 20 bucks dvd player.

That should be no problem.

I personally would not assemble a Haswell PC at this point unless I got a screaming deal on used parts. It's hard in my mind to justify 2 year old parts, even if Skylake isn't tremendously better.

I've been extremely patient but right now I've hit my limit.I just can't do anything with my current rig (i5 650 + hd 5570) and have never even seen what 1080p looks like.
Waiting for years was useless as Intel haven't lowered anything here and it's getting worse with the graphic cards.

Do I have to format the card and use the windows program for the windows installation via USB or can I just empty the usb, put the ISO in it and hit F12 after booting?
And can this motherboard even boot from a USB?I read you need a feature called ACHI that I don't see listed.

I fat-fingered the board number. Try Z170.

You know you could buy this stuff in stages. SSD first. Then maybe PSU and GPU. Then upgrade the rest if it's still too slow.

The Z170 cost 70 euros more than the Z97 ^^

Regular upgrades is what I plan to do with my new computer.Sadly my current one is some cheap ass pre-built that don't have anything I wanna keep.I was on a much smaller budget at that time (500 euros) and pre-built at that price range in my country are better deals.

I would get the monitor first, then SSD, then GPU+PSU.
Then upgrade the platform. Decide if you prefer to get the newer series or not. Maybe save some more by that time.

No, as I said, I don't have a case I can upgrade.
The monitor came today, now I am waiting for my new credit card to come as I needed an unlimited one for the computer.
I am considering buying a Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X instead of the 390x to get more power for VR.I could buy a better CPU too, but I have the feeling the I7 series is just too expensive considering the FPS boost they would give and it doesn't make sense.

That build is going to be a world of difference between that and your old set up. I hope you enjoy it! Seems like a solid build to me if you toss in that SSD.

Just bought all the parts, had to cheap out on the SSD and the PSU at the last minute because I decided to buy a second monitor (a small cheap one) as my current second monitor is VGA only and after just a few days using two monitors (as I bought my new monitor earlier) I can't go back.
I hope they won't screw up the build, as there was 6% reduction but only if I let them build the rig...

PSU is only 600W but 80+ Gold, hope it will be enough.I think I'll only use the SSD for games, will buy a better SSD in 2016.
Went from i5-4690K to 4790k because 50 euros off was far too sexy.
Bought the cheapest and weakest 980ti available, no OC but after checking enough benchmarks I couldn't consider the 390x any-more or even the air-cooled Fury as I plan to run Skyrim with a VR headset (Vive in December if lucky).
