About to buy a new laptop, how does this look?

my dad is about to buy a new laptop so i thought i would look around for him. he lives on a sailboat if that makes any difference in the recomendations. will admit i am partial to dell's, there price/support seem to at least as good as anyone else's. so here is what i an looking at please make any comments or suggestions.

(he won't be doing much if any true 3d).

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Inspiron's = crap. The Latitude's = good.
