Here's the problem: I have a Radeon 32MB DDR hooked up to a Samsung 950p. I'm running Windows Me, and I can't change resolutions. I'm stuck in 4-bit color, 640-480. Whenever I try to change res/color I'm forced to restart. Before Windows loads I get a blue screen error message. I don't know what to do. I'm running lastest drivers and clean installed twice. :(

Humm.. Make sure your using the correct *.inf for your monitor, and try earlier versions 7062, 7041, etc. Or it just might be WinME.

Have you tried different monitor drivers? Have a go with plug and play ones....might do the trick. Good luck.

I install the 9x drivers for Me right? I used the ones from my CD, but still keep getting that blue screen error message and having to boot in safe mode. What is wrong? Do I need a new monitor or something? :|

Yep, the 98 ones work for ME as well.

Did you totally uninstall the drivers from your previous card before installing the RADEON?

What did you do ME clean or radeon card clean this is definetly the drivers all old drivers must be removed before you even put the new radeon card in or this will happen. boot into safe mode remove your new radeon drivers then shut down install old vid card reinstall it compleatly restart then remove the drivers for the old card with the old card still in and install standard vga driver goto system prop. remove your old card. At this point there are two things you can try you can just go for it change cards and try installing your new radeon or if that does'nt work again. then do it all over this time reboot with the old card still in don't let it install just cancel or better yet start in safe mode and run regclean thenreboot all the way without letting it install your old card drivers keep vga drivers then shut down and change cards. I've had this happen a couple of times with ati cards if you don't completly remove their drivers before you install your new card well you know what happens good luck I hope this helped :)
