It's getting closer to passover... and Matzoh w/ Peanut Butter or Butter or Cream Cheese or Tuna Fish or Chicken Salad or... well... anything that is spreadable... is my favorite snack.

Passover..

Traditional jewish holiday. It commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.

In the narrative of the Exodus, the Bible tells that God helped the Children of Israel escape slavery in Egypt by inflicting ten plagues upon the Egyptians before Pharaoh would release his Israelite slaves; the tenth and worst of the plagues was the slaughter of the first-born. The Israelites were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord passed over these homes, hence the term "passover". When Pharaoh freed the Israelites, it is said that they left in such a hurry that they could not wait for bread to rise. In commemoration, for the duration of Passover no leavened bread is eaten, for which reason it is called "The Festival of the Unleavened Bread". Matzo (flat unleavened bread) is the primary symbol of the holiday.

Matzoh rocks. I like it plain. It's messy as hell, but delicious. It gets steeply discounted after passover and that's when I buy it :^)

I used to watch so many movies when I worked the overnight shift at a NOC.

the place seemed to only have 2 modes -- running around in a panic because something is exploding (sometimes literally) or being so bored you start finding out what shows are 10-15 pages deep into Hulu's most popular list.

That's me most nights.

I discovered Hulu has all 184 episodes of Fist of the North Star (subtitled).

I'm on episode 86.

Which is strange since it has a shelf life of a gazillion years.

The store prefers that it occupies your shelf space, rather than theirs, during the times when it's not going to sell as much volume.
