about the mb bios

how can i check what is my mb romid is?
i couldn't get another bios to work cuz it is not the same.....
my mb is Asus P4SD-VX; it is in the Sony computer

Just in case your plan is to try an Asus BIOS on your Sony, be aware that would be risky even if Asus did make the board and does offer BIOSes for it. If you want to update the BIOS with a Sony BIOS, there's no harm in updating it with the same version (as long as the update doesn't fail!), so if you get the latest BIOS from Sony, you can go ahead and update it with that.

99% sure your board will fail if you flash with the asus bios on a sony oem motherboard .
