Zuni, someone suggested in a different thread about having the username of the last person to reply to a thread being displayed along with the time and date. you said that we would lose a few pixels, which as you mentioned would be bad news for anyone using 800x600. would there be anyway to set it as a user defined preference, so we can chose wether we want to have this feature or not? this would work great if you implemented it in a similar fashion to the option that lets users choose how many threads they'd like to view on the screen at once.

would that be easy to add, or not? sorry if this has already being asked before. also, keep up the great work, you are a legend! :)

Hehe :) Well the other nasty side is we would have to join the messages table on threads, I will look into it that much I will do.

thanks for looking into it, but if it isn't easy to implement, and if it requires you to rearange everything, dont worry about it. although it would be a nice feature, i can live without it :)

Yeah, it'd be one of those 'nice but not terribly useful features' :) Which are always a good thing in my opinion. Personally, I run at 1600x1200, so desktop space isn't really a problem for me, although I know not everyone is blessed with nice 19" monitors like mine ;)

i actually think it is a very useful feature, so ya dont have to go into a thread to see if someone has replied to it, coz obviously it gets tricky remembering how many posts where in a thread the last time ya visited.

hehe, new feautre, rename the 'last post' column to 'paulson was here last, duh!' ;) j/k
