I'll second that Ben, ever since I applied the S3TC textures that come with the game, my gameplay has become liquid smooth and the visuals are *VERY* pleasing. I am running at 1024x768x32 with everything turned on. This, mind you, all on a budget video card. I am a happy camper for choosing the MX 🙂 🙂 🙂

For everyone who INSISTS people buy nVidia boards because of Quake3 benchmarks and 3D Mark scores, this is a pretty shady argument. Yes, I play first person shooters, but I also have an annual budget of $AU500 *ouch* to satisfy my gaming and development needs. nVidia has provided the undisputed fastest and value for money board out there and THAT'S why i bought it.

What about that other 10% BFG? 😛

"At the time I bought my V5, that surely wasn't the case, Ben."

Isn't it ironic that now V5 users can tout Q3 while GF owners have UT:Q😕

I'm really not "touting" Q3. As a matter of fact, I never play the game. It's boring as hell, especially compared to UT or SiN, but I digress. 😉

I knew people would be looking for benchmarks. So I threw them up there. I hate comparing benchmarks, and I hope people don't make me regret it.

But yeah, I saw your irony. 😉
