About the 600 meg earth image.

I need 2 things if you want me to serve at one meg/second tomorrow for a few hours...
1. The actual images 😉
2. A FTP server that DOES NOT need to be installed....just an executable 🙂

They seem to be 400MB images/movies, but here they are: ftp://sdcd.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/EARTHVIZ. I got the link from a thread I viewed where Viper GTS posted it.

Once I opened them up in PSP7 though, they show up as 1.1GB! :Q

4 pixels = 1 mi²

Or, each pixel represents an area that is 1/2 mile square.

So no, you cannot see buildings, roads, vehicles, etc.
