I figured it out as I was badly stumped before.
Let's say you have an apple pie with some mushy opening in the middle.
A centipede crawls in and lodges somewhere in the pie.
You cut the pie into a 1/3 and 2/3 slice.
Now which piece has a better chance, NOT a 100%, but simply the better chance of having the centipede lodged in?
Do you really wanna take that huge slice, or the smaller one?
You bake 20 pies with 20 centipedes, you cut em the same way, you tell me.
A clue- it ain't 50/50.
