about TAX FRAUD!

DaWhim

Lifer
i just want to report my relative tax fraud to IRS. i am sick of them. they brag about how much they can make a month and how much they can get back from the government. isn't it so obvious TAX FRAUD? they said they can get back $4000-$6000 from tax return. they own a new car (estimate worth $30,000+), two houses, etc.

how do i report them? just tell IRS to have a closer look at them.

Usually, if you tell the authorities that the person is in organized crime, they'll hit them with tax evasion. Try that.

Are they commiting tax fraud or are you just pissed because they have more loot than you? What in particular have they done that is illegal?

Feel free to search www.irs.gov for "fraud" and "reward." Or you could look at any of the several ATOT threads dealing with some AT'er who knows somebody who they think is committing fraud.

How do you KNOW they are committing fraud? Maybe they just underdeclare the number of exemptions they claim with their employers.

they are just so obviously commiting tax fraud. the chance of IRS randomly pick you is 1 out of 100.
i don't like them, they are my aunt and uncle. my father stupidly bought a house with them, now they are living in downstair. now, they are making a little money and want us to sell them this house. (originally, they didn't have enough money to afford a down payment for this house. we could, but my father's decision...)

Really if you're concerned just report it to INS. Many people legally get back a lot of money - many thousands - if they're big earners.

Yea, I don't think the Immigration and Naturalization Service are the proper people to contact here 🙂
Unless you want them deported...

OMFG I need a doctor. I KEEP DOING THAT. Everytime I mean IRS i say freaking INS. It's because I'm involved with immigration crap. And somebody keeps correcting me. I think it's not the first time you've done it. Maybe I'll learn. Probably not though!

Actually, I never knew you had a habit of doing that. I never saw it before. If you like, I could follow you around going "psst- it's IRS" 😉

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Please stop embarrassing yourself.

There is a criminal investigation dept of the IRS, I talked to a rep from them last year and it sounded interesting. Talk about being feared by CEOs 😀

My dad was getting killed in taxes and bought a second house to compensate for it. He believe he pays the same either way since there is the income deduction but then has property taxes and such since the second house is in another state. Overall, I believe he ends up paying either the same or less than if he didn't have the house. Pretty weird...
