Hello,

All thoe this has prob been ask many of times before- All of the older post are outdated so I want to know when are these other projects going to start. I'm a lill bored with this on going SETI project and was wondering when a new one will start up? Also when other SETI projects starts are you dudes going to make another TeAm Anandtech or you all fully crazed on the current SETI 1? Any help or talk would be kewl- Thanks.

Afraid I don't know anything official aside from what SETI say here.

And I don't doubt for a second that their'll be a TA S@H2 team🙂

To tell you the truth, i'm not exactly clear on what SETI 2 is. Is it just the southern hemisphere search? Or will it incorporate(in the future) the Arecibo data too, as it looks as though they plan on running that for a long time also?

Meanwhile, AstroPulse is in the testing phase. A short period project that will:
re-examine the existing SETI@home data tapes for a new type of signal radio pulses that only last for a microsecond.

i'm not bored with seti just i like the fact of a fresh start over in really it's good to start over fresh and such...

do you mean statistics wise? or do you want them to flush all the old data and start from scratch?
Statistics wise, I'd like to see a wipe of statistics for a fresh start on it, as there are many who haven't contributed any WU's in months and dare I say it...years. the statistics are just an afterthought anyway, the real goal is to find evidence of extra-terrestrial intellegence.
