? about NTFS encryption

When using NTFS encryption do I need to encrypt every file in a folder or just the folder.

In other words, if I have a folder of important stuff do I have to encrypt each file or just the folder to prevent someone from viewing my files.

My confusion is that if it you just encrypt the folder, can someone get around that by just supplying the full path the file to get at it?

I think you just have to encrypt the folder and everything inside of it gets encrypted automatically.

Don't forger to backup your key.

actually i just re-read the FAQ and there is a note in there that says this...

Encrypting the folder is best practice, because everything in it will be encrypted. This is useful in situations where you open a file that creates a temporary file (like when you open a Word doc). The temporary file created by Word will automatically be encrypted.
