Hi bro,

I'm a beginner in networking.
Hope u guys can help me out with some question

I have a streamyx and is plug to the server.The server is plug to a 8 port gigabit switch.

The gigabit switch has 5 units of 24 port switch connected to it.
I was able to get 3 of them working.But whenever i plug in the 2 remaining,my ping all timeout suddenly.

Is there a limit of number of switches i can connect to the asus gigabit switch?

sounds like the network is looped. Make sure that each switch has only one connection back to the 8 port switch. What ping times out? What are you pinging?
