I'm using a P3DM3 and I've been having problems (stability, etc.). I frequently get bluescreens or my system will hang, forcing a reboot. I think it may be a problem with the ram I'm using. Its 512 of generic ram. I've heard that you MUST use Registered DIMMs on this board, but tech support at Supermicro told me that they recommend only unbuffered ram. I've also heard that this board is very picky about the ram types installed on it. I'm currently running Windows 98SE. Also, other people have told me it could be a problem with a PCI device. Most of my PCI devices share IRQ 11, but I doubt that my PCI devices are the problem. Are the things that I hear true, and for those of you running stable P3DM3, P3DM6, P3DM4, or P3DME machines, what ram do you use? What do you think is the cause of this problem, and how could I remedy it? Thanks in advance.
