Many of you will find it hard to believe - but Mr. Atheist is really a terrific guy. After the last round of flame-wars, we've been corresponding and have become friends. This little tidbit provided for those who would believe I hold a grudge against the DPC.

Surprisingly, I have found many to be great guys, who believe in what they're doing - their team and their country. We may be aggravated about the DPC's inevitable climb to the top, but it's not the DPC's fault - it's our own apathy toward recruiting.

You may have noticed a different tone between the teams lately. I think we've both (DPC and TA) for the most part come to a conclusion that we are worthy competitors. Sadly, I wish we could generate enthusiasm for heavy recruiting BEFORE they pass us. We could learn alot from what they've done. :)

Gerrie - I'm cracking a cold one for you! :)

I've assimilated a few more machines at work, only on 8-5 M-F though. :(

DanC,

Glad to see that we have people opening up communication lines on both sides. It helped us become more friendly with the SysOpt people.

There're some pretty cool people in the DPC just as there are in every group.

I'm going on an assimilation spree. Just assimilated 2 others today. If i can figure out some problems in setting up my mini-team, i would have quite some people joining.

Eg. I contacted one of the visitors to my site on ICQ, merely mentioned the theme of the mini-team and she agreed to join immediately. I haven't even mentioned the purpose of RC5 to her. Nevertheless, i sent the 2 preconfigured clients to her and the standard instructions + my recruitment speech.
