about map the dvd drive

two clients in networking,one has dvd drive,one not,
can I map the dvd drive to the client not has the dvd drive,and read the dvd?
If yes,how?I tried to not working

Use File and Printer Sharing in Windows to share the drive. That will work to read data, but I don't know that it will work for actually playing the DVD. But most DVD software players can play the VOB files that are used to store the video on the disc, so you can do it that way.
