??? about Lite-On 24102B CD burner

I am looking on purchasing the new 24102B Lite-On burner but I want to make sure it will work on my computer. I have read that this burner has major problems with Abit motherboards and I want to know if anyone has had any problems with this burner on Azus boards. Also, if this is a highley recommended and/or proficient burner.
 
Running ABIT TH7-II RAID here and it works like a charm, haven't even upgraded the firmware, NO NEED!!! I'm also running a LiteOn 16x DVD, I will never go back to Pioneer/Sony/TEAC/Plextor, best bang for your buck!
