Currently I'm using this motherboard in a system with a Duron 800. I want to upgrade this CPU to a Tbred-B, but I'm not sure if it will support it..

Can anyone tell me?

Thanks

yup, works. get the newest BIOS and you should be fine. works for my brother =)

man, doesn't this board rock? fry's is just finally discontinuing it after years of faithful sales. almost brings a tear to my eye =)

Thanks a bunch!

I know it supports the Athlon XP since I've got the 3.1 revision, and I know the 1.0's don't support it.. but was unsure whether a T-Bred B will be supported.. 🙂

The board I got was shipped with the BIOS that first officially supports XP2400 and XP2600 cpus.

A great board. I can still get that board and the Pro version too.

Gawd damn!! How many lives does the mobo have?? I remember getting one of these boards a year ago and it was crap.

Not everyone has bad luck with these boards. 😛

I only have one problem with this board.

I'm on the AT Folding@Home team, and the client runs in the system tray. Whenever I click on it (red flower) it ALWAYS reboots my whole computer as soon as I click it. Don't know why... It happens on any version of windows I try.

It could be a ram issue.

It could be a lot of things.
