some info i thought was interesting
[I caught a discussion over the weekend about some faulty Iwill KK266-R motherboards. I've contacted Iwill and have confirmed that a few faulty boards did find their way around Quality Control. My understanding is the faulty boards will not allow the user to manually change the multiplier in the bios. This is all news to me and have only heard a few inquires about the problem but no complaints. If you do have a KK266-R Version 1.2 motherboard with this problem, follow the directions below. Here is Iwill's response:
"We had a series of ver 1.2 boards that had faulty components. The solution has been resolved and all future 1.2 boards from March 5th on are okay. Should customers find themselves with a faulty 1.2 version motherboard with limited overclocking features, please have them contact our RMA department at rma@iwillusa.com or 949-753-5488 ext. 105 for an immediate exchange or swap."]
