Because I've just uninstalled the Catalyst 6.5 drivers and used driver cleaner on them, and am about ready to start to install the Catalyst 6.6 drivers, but I tried to download it on the high connection speed section(the one with the Display Drivers, WDM drivers, and CCC, and yes, I have a high-speed connection), and I got NSIS errors. I download the stuff on the Low-Speed connection and it works(I haven't tried to install anything yet, but just tested them up to the verifier and I don't get an NSIS error), but they're all seperated into the Display Drivers, the WDM drivers, and the CCC panel, 3 seperate downloads.

I was wondering if I needed to install the WDM drivers, since I have an X1900XT, or if I leave that part out.

Here are the release notes for the WDM drivers, FYI:

To me, it sounds like only all-in-wonder cards, but I want to make sure about this before I install anything.

I don't on my X1900XTX. I just use the driver only package and ATI Tray Tools.

Edit: even If you want to use the CCC, you still don't have to install the WDM drivers.

I now installed this stuff, now it won't let me up the clocks in the ATI Overdrive. Everytime I put the dots up in the core and memory columns and click apply, it always likes to take them and kick them back down to 621/720 again. I am trying to get it to 625/725, and it's been able to do that on 6.5 and below, but 6.6 won't allow it.

Is ATI tool version 0.25 version 14(the one that is for the X1900 series) a safe utility to use to get the speeds up?

My X1900XT's temperatures are about 62C idle and 85-87C under full load. Do you think those temperatures are safe enough for some overclocking?
