When you open a savings account with them, do they usually ask you to send a copy of your social security card? My parents are all bitchy about how all it's a scam and crap.

No copy. They need your SS number, but not copy.

Oh, and do you need a referral? 😉

P.S. Emigrant-Direct has 3.5% vs 3.15 for ING-Direct.
