My favorite part of Inception has to be the soundtrack. I still listen to it randomly!

Oh shit - I didn't know Hans Zimmer did it. Thats why its awesome - that dude is a genius! He could make watching paint dry amazing

I've seen a few other movies that he's also been the composer on, but they didn't grab me as much as Inception did. I think the next closest one would be Tron: Legacy, which he worked on with Daft Punk.

The quarter or whatever he spins at the end keeps on spinning. He said in the movie he knows when it's not a dream because it stops spinning

Otherwise dumb movie which borrows from some 80's b movies
Are you that dense? They specifically cut away from the spinning top before the audience could possibly know if it fell down or not. It was the whole point. If you watch closely, it even twitches as a tease to the audience.

That said, I am not a fan of Inception... except for the music.

Sorry. As the owner of actual Hans Zimmer albums, I'd have to say that Gladiator, The Lion King, and Batman Begins are better, even as a Daft Punk fan.

2010 called, they want your thread back.

I got it for myself on Blu Ray for xmas. Great movie. The ending was of course meant to bring on the conversation. The top is spinning, and as the screen goes black I believe it falls which would support that he's in real life.

The kids however having not seemed to age from before could indicate it's a dream.

I thought Inception was really good, but I thought the The Town was the best movie that year.

Hm, I would have to listen to Gladiator again, but I know there are a few songs that I like from the Batman Begins and The Dark Knight soundtrack.

Although, Tron: Legacy is a different beast since it's much more of an Electronica album than a straight-up orchestrated album like Batman Begins or Inception.
