About eBay's bidding policy.... non-paying bidders

I have just recently received a high bid by a (0) rated eBayer w/ the address ******@gustiwa.net. After trying to go to the gustiwa.net website I see that it doesn't exist. Should I just go ahead and report this to eBay or square trade? Anyone have experience w/ non paying bidders? What about the second chance option?

when was the auction over? has he e-mailed you? have you tried to contact them?
from your post i see no reason to report them or anything. you have to give them time to contact you and pay you.

As far as getting him to pay I doubt it'll happen. Next time just state in your auction that you aren't allowing anyone with less than 3 positive feedbacks bid. If they do, cancel their bids.

second chance lets u offer item to the second place bidder, so the sale is still within ebay...u could also do it outside ebay. as for non-paying bidders, u can follow the steps ebays lists (ie. emails will go to you/buyer) its like a 4 step process and takes some time...
