Ok, I am probably going to buy a dual VGA video card, since the Visiontek geforece 4 440MX is a good cost. But i have a question regarding dual displays.

I understand the video card divides the screen resolution between the 2 monitors. But what do I do If I only want to use 1 monitor?

For example, I will use dual display for video editing, and photoshop, and the like. But what if I want to game on just my main 19' trinitron? Will I manually have to reset the resoluton?

Thanks.

Nah, most games, will automatically black out your second monitor and display the game on only your main monitor. Haven't really seen a game yet that takes advantage of both monitors...

being able to use two monitors for games would be cool though.

:)

but then again, most dual monitor cards aren't that good at games... so eitherway...

it doesn't seem too practical.... not just yet.
