HI ,
I was wonder is current ddr400 able to use for future p4 prescott with 800 fsb? Is it qualify for intel ddr400 specification ? thanks

No, but it obviously will be very soon as AMD and Intel will be using it.

Here's the deal:

Like people have already said, JEDEC doesn't have a standard for this yet. However, many reputable manufacturers have stated that their RAM sticks will run at their stated frequencies. So, apart from just simple incompatibilities, there shouldn't be a problem. There's no way anyone can be 100% sure that one stick of RAM will work with one particular motherboard until it's tested, but 99% of the time, there isn't a problem.

So JEDEC standards would help, but even they don't provide 100% certainty.

Thats wat i wonder about..Jedec havent approve ddr400 . They are just going to approve ... nowadays ddr400 is damn cheap, i am thinking of getting it. But i afraid those ddr400 in the current market doesnt meet the requirement of intel ddr400 timing.
