about crysis expansion

sup... I was wondering if anyone here have stability issues with crysis warhead... here the games love to stop responding when loading... lol...

This is really pulling my leg... everytime i try to load some level there is a 99% chance they get stuck in not responding in the loading.. besides that... when it runs it runs great lol...

Need more information. The game has been out for a while, so did you just get the game and have you had problems the whole time? I assume you have it patched? Computer specs? Do you have Crysis?

I'm trying to remember... I had a similar problem, and I think it only happened with Warhead. It was with setting r_TexturesStreaming to one. My CCC config that I used for Crysis did that for some higher details or performance. Or maybe the problems were with setting it to zero. I can't remember but you might want to look into it. I'm looking at my Crysis autoexec.cfg and I am setting it to one. In my Crysis Warhead autoexec.cfg, I commented out that line.

oh by the way is vista 32.. PhII 940, 4870x2, 4 gigs, and first time using this... no original crysis... game is 1.1 version, cat9.2 and so on...

Cuban's Custom Crysis configs. It's now merged into other configs and bigger.

But that wouldn't be your problem if you are not running any custom configs. I'm guessing rTexturesStreaming is set to 0 by default.
