the sour grapes are coming out now, the cc guys are bitching that they didnt win the triple crown
I really don't even care other than watching it, didn't even bet.

People like you have to show up to make dumb remarks and ruin things though.

Wasn't even close.

Another mediocre horse.

Uh, no, you not understanding the amount of effort a horse expends running this fast for a mile and a half, the proving fact is that the horse that beats the TC contender IS NOT a horse that ran in the Preakness. The last 5 TC contenders were defeated by "fresh" horses who's owners held them out of the Preakness.

(I'm not a horse racing person.) CA Chrome needed Calvin Bo-rail. Running on the far outside for the last third of the race could have not been optimal, the distance is already long enough without making it even longer.

Angry owner is angry.

He's got a pretty good point. Tonalist (winner) and Commisioner (2nd place) skipped both the Derby and the Preakness, and Medal Count (3rd place) skipped the Preakness.

Yea, my thoughts exactly, grab that rail and set the pace early. Yes, it's possible that another contender could challenge in the long Belmont backstretch but he got him in a position were he hasn't been in his last 7 races, then goes waaay wide and tries to bring him home. IMPO his best option was to hug that rail early (with the lead) and see if someone can catch him, very possible someone could but the jockey expended a lot of effort to get him outside and then he was so far outside there was no chance.

Yup, the last 5 TC contenders were defeated by a horse that did not compete in the Preakness. It's possible we won't see another TC winner until a freak like "Secretariat" comes along or Belmont changes it's rules so that only horses that have run the Preakness are allowed to compete in the Belmont race.

secretariat didnt "win" by 31 lengths, he was the most jacked horse in history. he was the barry bonds/lance armstrong of horseracing

Really? got even ANY shred of proof? is your brain large enough to understand they test these horses for anything illegal?, As usual you've cemented your personal "Triple Crown" of being OT's dumbest, most ignorant, most moronic poster of all time, congrats!..
