? about amd's approved list

I tried to find some posts on this and couldnt. Why is it that the seemingly best and most popular boards arent even on AMD's approved list? At least not the few I have been reading about: The Asus A7M266, and the Epox 8KHA+, and the Shuttle boards arent listed there...

Just give AMD some time my friend and I assure you they will be on the list, the certification process is underway at this moment, and from what I've read the boards your referring to should all make the grade.

does this apply the same to DDR memory? or am i just missing something. I noticed that Corsair, Crucial and Mushkin are not on the approved list....

The approved list is just a guide....All the RAM listed works flawless with the AMD Combo's I have had

It takes time to test nearly all hardware, just think how many computer devices you are talking about,PSU,boards, coolers etc,AMD don`t have the resources to cover them all in one week so they do it bit by bit yes it`s slow. And they will soon have nforce boards on top of that to do, so cycle is never ending for them.
