about 5 ticks.... now seems to be back to normal.... is it ok?

my old WD 20GB just gave me about 5 ticks when bottin up cstrike, steam crashed because its junk, i dont think the ticks caused it, but then the ticks stopped.... is it gonna die soon or could it just be random? drive is probably 4-5 yrs old now
 
"Usually" Ticking is a forewarning to drive failure, but like boomerany stated, the utility May tell the tale.
