I am considering this motherboard, but i am also considering this nvme. The one i want has a heatsink so i was hoping it wasn't to much of a pain in the ass to remove if at all?
You should be able to take off the motherboard heatsink (otherwise how would you install a new nvme drive?), and just leave it your motherboard box or in your spare parts box. Then just install the new nvme drive and secure it down with a screw.
Edit. To be more specific, you should give the model of your motherboard.
