I have to admit that I'm a Abit fan boy, but I was really considering a Intel LGA 775 for my SLI setup that I'm running now, only to find out to my surprise that Abit's 975x chips are all only for CrossFire. What's going on here, does anyone know if there is anything coming for SLI in the near future?

From what I understand, the motherboard does support SLI. The problem is Nvidia's drivers will only allow it to work on Nvidia motherboards. In fact you can get hacked drivers to allow SLI on other motherboards.

This I already know about:

But from what people saying and some reviews I've read, they're saying the Conroes are really whiping the AMDs AM2, so I was considering it, but I'm such a Abit fanboy, I won't buy anything else to use, so for now I guess I'll just keep my Abit KN8 SLi.

Actually I might at least upgrade it to a AN8 32X which has SLI X16
