I've been bouncing back and forth between getting an RDRAM system and a DDR RAM system, and I think I'm back to the RDRAM system.

I've spent most of today looking about on the different boards for info about the best P4 RDRAM mobo, and it seems that everyone likes these two the best. But I can't find anything that directly compares the two (anyone got a link???)...

Which of the two is better? Both look like they have great OC'ing ability...the TH7-II might be a little better since you can set your PCI and AGP speeds independant of the fsb speed.

I *think* either will support the 1066 RDRAM, but I'm not sure (I've seen posts/reviews go both ways)...

Basically, I'm looking for a good P4 system that will last a while, have some oc'ing ability, and can be upgraded later (like when the 533 fsb chips come out). Both boards seem like they'll do this for me...Anyone got any opinions to push me one way or the other?

Thanks...

Go TH7II. It oc's just as good as the DDR board Asus P4B266 while P4T-E is a tad behind. Both will support PC1066 as long as your CPU can run at 133fsb. I feel that you can't get a more future proof board than it. It will run future 533fsb Northwood's and will provide the best performance on the 533fsb platform
