Their support is most definately a joke.
One of my Abit mobo's died on me a long while ago, and greeted to me on the phone numerous times were...
get this, not Indian call cantre workers, but African.
Being totally un-offensive, their accents and language, was just, discraceful.
When i rang up, and told them about the mobo's death and that all products by law came with a 1 year warranty (specifically Abit ones) the man responded with....
"Nah man, ya layinn, ya layin!"
He thought I was making it up, and didnt even realise the mobo had a 1 year warranty :|
He only accpted to replace it after I asked for his name and all other details, and said I would complain to head office about him.
He quickly then suddenly 'remembered' the warranty rules and said they could replace it but only with a £15 fee.
Totally ass.
